Over the last few years under the leadership of Chairman Rick DeMichele, Republican candidates have made notable gains in many of our communities. Our county operation has re-evaluated priorities and remained dedicated to our collective core values of less government and lower taxes. Over time, we made some gains on the local government and school board levels, but this past year, we even helped elect a Republican from Camden/Gloucester to the State Legislature – Assemblyman Domenick DiCicco, Jr.
I doubt I need to tell you, we start each election cycle at a considerable disadvantage.
The County Democratic machine is firing on all cylinders. Even in towns where we have taken control, we find vendors and consultants unwilling to bid on municipal contracts due to perceived institutional favoritism. This diminishes competition and innovation for local services and increases waste and cost. We need to capitalize on the gains we’ve made thus far and redouble our efforts to build our party for the future. The timing is right with all experts predicting a good year for Republican candidates nationwide.
Please consider joining the Camden County Republican Committee Leadership Council.
The cost is $1,000 per year and with membership you are given tickets to the two major County fund raising events (Lincoln Day Dinner, February 25, 2010 and Fall Gala) as well as special recognition at all Camden County Republican events. In addition, we are planning two invitation-only meetings with prominent statewide Republican leaders.
For information on membership in the Leadership Council, please fill out the below form, and someone will reach out to you shortly.
We look forward to speaking with you and working toward further Republican success in the years ahead.
